We believe in the incarnate, crucified, resurrected and ascended Son of God. The whole Bible points to Jesus, and He is the centre point of human history. Our church is centred around Jesus; we worship Him passionately in spirit and in truth, and believe He encounters and changes people today through the Holy Spirit.

We want a community which is authentic, not fake. Relational, not religious. Grace-filled, not lawful. Jesus wants His church to be united, quick to forgive and accepting of difference. We want to build a community where people feel at home and are welcome – church is not just a group of friends, but a spiritual family of brothers and sisters, and we want to love each other as such. This is not restricted within the four walls of a church building, but is something that impacts those around us.
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honour.

At City Church, we believe the good news about Jesus is a message that the world needs to hear. This message is the focus of our mission – Jesus is passionate about the lost, and so are we. We outreach in different ways; for example through small groups, friendships, Alpha courses and outreach events. On the last Sunday of each month we run our Cafe Church service, where we preach the gospel in a meeting aimed at non-Christians.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

We believe God wants us to build a large and thriving church that raises up leaders and plants churches. Since we began meeting in 2011, we have planted two other churches:
